Off the trails, there’s time to stroll Zakopane’s Krupowki promenade, browse regional crafts and soak up the goral atmosphere. On the way to the thermal baths, you’ll pass through Chocholow, one of the best-preserved wooden highland villages in Poland, and stop for oscypek smoked cheese with a shot of regional vodka.

The day ends at Chocholow Thermal Baths: outdoor pools fed by natural hot springs, with steam rising into the freezing air and snow sometimes settled at the water’s edge. After the trails, float and thaw out, or head straight for the swim-up bar.

Booking Your Zakopane Snowmobile Day Trip

Good to Know

If there isn’t enough snow, snowmobiles are replaced with quad bikes and buggies — the rest of the day runs as planned. The snowmobile portion can’t be cancelled once booked; the rest of the day still follows our standard 24-hour cancellation policy.

Anyone driving must be 18 or over and bring a full car driving licence plus ID or passport; passengers don’t need a licence, and children must be at least 6 years old to ride as a passenger. Drivers sign a standard safety declaration before setting off and are responsible for any damage to their snowmobile. The snowmobiles come before the vodka tasting for a reason: anyone who’s been drinking won’t be allowed to ride. For safety, the ride isn’t suitable during pregnancy or for guests with limited mobility — if anyone in your group has a health condition, message us before booking and we’ll check it works.

Helmets are provided. Dress warmly in layers, with gloves and waterproof outerwear, or rent a snowsuit on site on the day if you’d rather not ride in your own gear. Bring a balaclava to wear under the helmet — it’s required for hygiene reasons, and can be bought on site if you don’t have one.

Bring a swimsuit for the thermal baths, and pack a pair of flip flops — they’re required by the venue. Towels can be brought from home or rented inexpensively on site. Drinks at the swim-up bars run on a pre-loaded credit wristband — order what you like through the day, and settle the balance when you leave.
