1. About Us
Krakow Unlocked is a trading name of Unlocked Events Feliks Lewandowski-Fraser, a company registered in Poland. These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made through krakowunlocked.com.
By completing a booking with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your group.
2. Bookings & Payment
2.1 All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
2.2 Prices are per person unless otherwise stated. Tiered pricing may apply depending on group size — the applicable rate will be shown clearly at checkout.
2.3 By booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, including participant numbers, health conditions, and any other details relevant to your experience.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 Cancellations by You
All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to info@krakowunlocked.com. Cancellations made verbally or via third parties will not be accepted.
- 48 hours or more before your tour date: full refund, no questions asked.
- Less than 48 hours before your tour date: no refund will be issued.
3.2 Cancellations by Us
In the unlikely event that Krakow Unlocked must cancel a booking — for example due to supplier failure or force majeure — we will offer either:
- a full reschedule to an alternative date, or
- a full refund of all payments made to us.
4. Changes
4.1 Changes by You
All requests to amend a booking must be made directly with Krakow Unlocked by email at info@krakowunlocked.com and not with suppliers. Making changes directly with suppliers may incur additional costs. Any such costs are the responsibility of the customer.
4.2 Changes by Us
Krakow Unlocked will use reasonable efforts to operate all tours and experiences as advertised. However, modifications may be necessary due to weather, supplier availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Minor changes (timing, venue, supplier, sequence of activities) may be made without refund or compensation.
Major changes (activity type, destination, or date) will be communicated as soon as possible. You may then:
- accept the revised arrangements,
- select an alternative of equivalent value (if available), or
- cancel the affected part of your booking and receive a refund for that portion only.
5. Participation & Insurance
5.1 Participation in activities is at your own risk. Some providers may require a waiver or indemnity form to be signed on the day.
5.2 Customers are strongly advised to obtain travel or activity insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury, and activity participation.
5.3 Customers must not participate under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances. Providers reserve the right to refuse participation without refund.
5.4 Customers must inform Krakow Unlocked at the time of booking of any medical conditions, disabilities, or other factors that may affect safe participation. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in exclusion without refund.
5.5 Certain activities have age, health, or eligibility restrictions. These are stated in individual activity descriptions. Failure to meet stated requirements will result in exclusion without refund.
6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 Provide accurate information at the time of booking, including participant numbers, dietary requirements, and any relevant health conditions.
6.2 Arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Late arrivals may result in exclusion from the activity without refund.
6.3 Follow all safety instructions provided by Krakow Unlocked and its suppliers. Failure to comply may result in exclusion without refund.
6.4 Treat staff, guides, and other participants with respect. Krakow Unlocked reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive or unsafe, without refund.
7. Our Responsibilities & Liability
7.1 Krakow Unlocked will use reasonable care and skill in arranging your booking. We accept responsibility only where a failure is directly attributable to our fault or that of our suppliers.
7.2 We accept no liability or responsibility where failure is due to:
- circumstances caused by you or your group,
- the actions of an unrelated third party, or
- events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, transport delays, weather, or force majeure).
7.3 Liability for death, personal injury, or illness arises only where directly caused by negligence on the part of Krakow Unlocked or its suppliers.
7.4 Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence, our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the booking in question.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Krakow Unlocked is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”).
8.2 Such events include but are not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, strikes, transport disruption, and supplier failure.
8.3 In such cases, we may modify, postpone, or cancel bookings. Where no suitable alternative can be arranged, we will offer a reschedule or, at our discretion, a credit voucher equal to the booking value valid for 12 months.
9. Marketing & Photography
9.1 Krakow Unlocked and its suppliers may take photographs or video footage during tours and experiences for promotional purposes.
9.2 By participating, you grant Krakow Unlocked the right to use such material in marketing without compensation.
9.3 To opt out, please notify us in writing before your tour date or inform your guide or host on the day.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Krakow, Poland.
